SHIPPING & RETURNS

At Maison Hobbas, we want to ensure that you have a seamless shopping experience, including when it comes to shipping and returns, repair and maintenance services as well as warranty.


Shipping Policy

Maison Hobbas headwear is made-to-order only, including our prêt-à-porter designs. When an order is received it is subject to confirmation and payment, in order to be processed. We aim to dispatch all orders on items that are made to order within 3 weeks of receipt, subject to order confirmations and payment received.

Your Headwear will be delivered to the address provided by you on the order form. We cannot be responsible for errors in the delivery information that you supply to us.

Any dates quoted for delivery are approximate only. We shall not be held liable for any delay in delivery times, however caused. 

We are able to deliver to most global locations but if you do not live within Europe or the USA, please contact us if you require an urgent Delivery Date.

Be aware of extended delivery dates or impossibility to deliver in war-affected areas.

Delivery is made through Fedex and is free for our clients. Delivery in Europe are usually done within 4 working days.

International orders are usually delivered within 7-10 working days, however please be aware that the items may be subject to delays in customs.

All deliveries can be tracked. A signature will be required upon receipt of delivery.

We are not liable for damage incurred to hats in transit or for non-delivery. You will become the owner of the headwear you have ordered once they have been dispatched to you. Once headwear have been delivered to you they will be held at your own risk and we will not be liable for their loss or destruction.

Customs:  While we do everything we can to make sure your order is cleared by Customs, we advise that you check with your local Customs, before importing anything to your country that may be stopped or have charges applied.  Maison Hobbas will not be liable for charges if your shipment is stopped, charged for or disposed of at Customs.


Return & Exchange Policy

As all Maison Hobbas headwear is made to order, items cannot be returned or exchanged.

Maintenance and Repair

Maison Hobbas offers repair services for its own headwear only. Some maintenance and repair services are covered by the lifetime limited warranty. See Warranty chapter below. If the intervention needed is not covered by the below described warranty, the client can hire Maison Hobbas's maintenance and repair services. These conditions must be met:

  • You must have purchased the product from Maison Hobbas online website or in person, or through an authorized dealer;

  • You must contact Maison Hobbas at studio@maisonhobbas.it providing proof as to the date and place of purchase (receipt), as well as photos and a description of the repair needed.

Maison Hobbas will provide an estimated cost and time of repair for your consideration. Once repair services are confirmed, Maison Hobbas will send a payment link to submit the order. When an order is received it is subject to confirmation and payment, in order to be processed. Once the order is confirmed and payment is received, you must return the product to Maison Hobbas (address for shipping will be provided by email). Shipping cost is covered by You both ways. Maintenance and repair services might take up to 4 weeks of time.

Warranty

At Maison Hobbas we take pride in the products we make and warrant to the person who originally purchased the product (“you”) that all Maison Hobbas products will be free from defects in workmanship and materials for their applicable Warranty Period, subject to the below conditions.

In order for your warranty claim to be approved, the following conditions must be met:

  • You must have purchased the product from Maison Hobbas online website or in person, or through an authorized dealer;

  • You must contact Maison Hobbas at studio@maisonhobbas.it providing proof as to the date and place of purchase (receipt);

  • You must return the product to Maison Hobbas (address for shipping will be provided by email and shipping cost is covered by You); and

  • You must have used the product only as intended and in accordance with the product’s care instructions. 

If a defect occurs as the result of the Product’s intended use according to the care instructions during the Warranty Period, we will repair or replace, at our discretion, the defective product or part. The warranty does not cover defects caused by third-party modifications, repairs, or replacement parts. You will void your warranty if you attempt to fix the headwear on your own through any sort of cutting, bending, sewing, gluing, or any other forms of deconstruction.

Internet Browser

Whilst Maison Hobbas takes every step to represent the items in our online boutique accurately, we cannot be held responsible for any discrepancies between the colours of the headwear and how the colours might appear on your screen: How the shop is viewed may vary slightly between different browsers.

Maison Hobbas is a 'ditta individuale' registered in Italy with VAT number 16729031001.
